Kaitlyn became passionate about pursuing an advanced practice degree at the age of 16 years old. While navigating a cancer diagnosis, she was blessed to have a nurse practitioner who exemplified what it meant to be attentive, precise, empathetic, and compassionate. That experience has inspired Kaitlyn to strive to deliver that same level of compassionate, patient-centered care. With a strong foundation in clinical excellence and a focus on holistic wellness, Kaitlyn partners with patients to promote health, prevent illness, and manage both acute and chronic conditions.
She earned her associates nursing degree locally through the Yakima Valley College Nursing Program and went on to obtain her bachelor’s degree in nursing through Boise State University. After gaining experience as a registered nurse, she then completed advanced practice training at Frontier Nursing University, specializing in Family Practice.
Known for a thoughtful and collaborative approach, Kaitlyn emphasizes clear communication and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. She has a particular interest in preventive care, hormone replacement therapy, and chronic disease management and is passionate about empowering patients through education and shared decision-making.
Outside of clinical practice, Kaitlyn stays busy raising her beautiful young daughter, spending time with family, and prioritizing living a simple life. She remains active in professional development to stay at the forefront of evolving healthcare practices. She is dedicated to the Total Care team and fostering an environment where patients can feel seen, heard, and supported in every stage of life.
